Our Story
520 Home Sweet Home Aruba was founded by passionate home décor enthusiasts who have always believed that a home should feel warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. Decorating has never been just a hobby for us. It has always been a way to express comfort, love, and family. Over the years, we found ourselves inspired by home and lifestyle stores while traveling to different countries, often wishing there was one place where everything we loved could come together under one roof. That dream stayed with us and eventually became 520 Home Sweet Home Aruba. The name itself holds deep meaning. The idea came during a flight when, upon landing, the words “Home Sweet Home” were announced. In that moment, it felt comforting and familiar, symbolizing the joy of returning to family and the feeling of belonging. The number 520 is equally special. It represents the founder’s daughters' birthdays and the store’s opening day, and in Chinese culture, 520 symbolizes “I love you,” a message that reflects the heart of our store.
